DataMiner selected by ntl for HFC Network management
Izegem, April 2006, Skyline Communications, leading supplier of multi-vendor network management solutions, announces that it has received an order from ntl in the UK for the supply of its award-winning DataMiner technology for the management of its HFC broadband network.
Ntl, UK’s largest cable operator serving over 12.5 million homes, will deploy DataMiner in a first phase for the management of its optical transmitters and receivers installed nation wide. DataMiner emerged as the superior solution after a thorough market survey by ntl, and after a careful study by ntl of the earlier accomplishments of other cable operators by means of the DataMiner platform.
