German Aerospace Center DLR deploying DataMiner multi-vendor network management technology.

Munich, Germany, March 2009 - SHM Broadcast, a DataMiner Strategic Partner (DSP), announced the delivery of a DataMiner multi-vendor network management platform to the German Space Operations Center (GSOC) of the German Aerospace Center DLR (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt). The DataMiner platform will be used for the end-to-end management of its video services infrastructure, delivering video from Space Shuttles and the International Space Station (ISS) to various space centers around the world. This includes for example management of encoders, decoders, IP gateways, matrices & routers and various peripheral equipment, from a wide variety of different equipment vendors.
