DataMiner brand usage guidelines
Through strategic partnerships, Skyline Communications drives innovation and growth in the industry. We value all partnerships equally and strive to achieve shared objectives while maintaining clear communication and openness in our joint marketing efforts.
Brand elements and logos
When your organization serves as the primary brand, all co-branded materials should reflect your company's authentic voice and visual identity.
Your established typography, design templates, color systems, and brand standards should guide the creation process, just as they would for any marketing material you develop independently. In logo arrangements, the DataMiner logo should appear in a secondary position.

Main logo
Our main logo serves as our most recognizable brand element globally. DataMiner logos are readily available for download and prepared for use in your marketing materials across your various channels.

Wordmark
This version of the logo may be used when full-color printing or rendering is not possible—for example, when applied as signage or lettering on demo pods at trade shows.
When placing the DataMiner logo on light backgrounds, please use the black version. A version of the logo in our corporate Skyline Blue is also available. This variant may be used sparingly, and only when it does not visually interfere with the overall design of the marketing material. For dark backgrounds, opt for the white version.

Avatar
The DataMiner avatar features our distinctive "d" symbol within a circular design and serves as a versatile brand element for digital and print applications. This compact logo is ideal for use in smaller spaces and situations where the full wordmark may not be practical.
The avatar is available in four versions to ensure optimal visibility across different applications: use the shaded version as the primary choice, with corporate blue, black, and white versions available for specific background requirements. Select the white version for dark backgrounds and the black version for light backgrounds where other versions may not provide sufficient contrast.

Corporate & brand colours
Our carefully curated color palette ensures consistent brand recognition and visual harmony across all DataMiner materials.

C84 - M58 - Y0 - K8
For everything design wise, you should use our primary corporate color, also know as Blue 600. This shade should be used as the foundation for all design work, alongside its color variations. When creating designs, prioritize the use of gradients and rounded corners to maintain a modern, cohesive aesthetic.
Color variations
Our comprehensive blue palette ranges from Blue 50 through Blue 950, providing designers with flexible options to create depth, hierarchy, and visual interest while maintaining brand consistency.
Greyscale variations
The grayscale variations from Gray 50 to Gray 950 complement our blue family and ensure optimal readability and accessibility across all applications.
Font types
Because Comic Sans is never an option, we've carefully selected fonts that reflect our professional identity and ensure optimal readability across all platforms.
SkylineSans
SkylineSans serves as our distinctive brand typeface and should be used for large headings and prominent display text. This custom font reinforces our unique brand personality and creates instant recognition in marketing materials, presentations, and digital applications.
Inter
Inter is our workhorse font for smaller headings, body text, and general content. This highly legible typeface ensures excellent readability across both digital and print media while maintaining a clean, modern appearance that complements our SkylineSans headlines.
Together, this typography system creates a cohesive hierarchy that guides readers through your content while maintaining the professional standards expected from DataMiner communications. Always prioritize clarity and readability when selecting font sizes and weights.
Logo guidance
Follow these guidelines to ensure that the DataMiner logo is featured correctly in your marketing creative.
Clear space
The amount of clear space around the logo should be equal to or greater than the height of the letter d in the avatar and wordmark. This keeps the logo from getting crowded by images, text, or other graphics that could compromise its visual integrity.

Partnership logos
An easy way to show your partnership with DataMiner is to place both logos side by side. Your logo should be the main focus and appear first. The DataMiner logo comes second as the supporting brand.
When placing both logos together, ensure they are visually balanced in terms of size and positioning. Always look for a visual anchor point to align the two logos consistently and harmoniously.
For vertical logo arrangements, stack your company logo above the DataMiner logo. Your logo should remain the primary focus at the top position, with the DataMiner logo positioned below as the secondary element. This vertical layout maintains the proper brand hierarchy while creating a clean, organized appearance for your partnership materials.

Our collaboration philosophy
Clear communication in partnership marketing requires distinguishing between messages originating from DataMiner and those from collaborating organizations, while also making the nature of our relationship transparent. While it might seem appealing to blend brand elements, such as combining color schemes, mixing templates with different typography, or merging visual styles, this approach creates confused messaging that diminishes trust with audiences and often leads to extended review and approval processes for both organizations. The solution is simple: always designate a primary brand for each marketing deliverable.
Partner-led materials must clearly originate from your organization, not from Skyline Communications. Partners must avoid any marketing approaches or brand representations that might mislead customers or mischaracterize the partnership with DataMiner. Based on the specific deliverable or partnership structure, it may be beneficial to develop dual versions of marketing assets: one with your organization as the primary brand and another with DataMiner taking the lead.
When your organization leads the branding effort, you take ownership of the creative development process and securing required approvals from the DataMiner marketing team. Our team typically reviews submissions within 3-5 business days, though additional time may be needed if revisions are required. We recommend submitting materials well in advance of your planned launch date.
